Cliches - "Sunny Side Up"

White earthenware paper clay, underglazes and glazes to greenware, single-fired to 1100C.  

Non-ceramic frame.  Approx. 45cm H x 42cm W x 5cm D.

September 2024 - April 2025

Inspired by the song ‘Keep Your Sunny Side Up’ from the 1929 film ‘Sunny Side Up’, later a variety TV program of the same name in Melbourne in the 1950s.  Subsequently adapted as the Essendon Football Club song.  Uplifting in the Great Depression and a little light humour for the current challenging times.
